Our commitment to you
- This is a blog and news site for and about the Catholic community specifically. We write stories about Catholics, their testimonies, ministries, parish events, etc. There are only two of us working on this site for now, but we want to give you the best that we can.
- For now our content is catered to those in Malaysia and we are making great efforts to provide stories/news concerning Catholics in the region.
- We will strive to provide information that is as accurate, fair and objective. If you have reason to believe that we have not done so, please contact us and assist us in meeting this objective.
- We are not a platform for public discourse. We will not publish content that goes against the teachings of the Church. In fact, we will do our best to uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church. If you are from another faith, please use this website with an open mind. We do not want to be drawn into any kind of inter-religious debate or be asked to explain our belief.
- There is a difference between fair comment and defamation. We will try our best to ensure that we do not defame anyone. If we have done so, please let us know so we can address it quickly.
- We will not publish anything deemed unlawful in Malaysia. Follow the link to find out what the Malaysian laws are.
- We will not publish any fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable information of any kind.
- You are encouraged to share our content – articles (see No 9 for details), photos, videos, infographics, etc. All we ask is that you: credit Journey With Us and ensure there is a link back to our site.
- If you want to reproduce our articles, please only use the first two paragraphs or the first 50 words with a link back to the article on our site.
- We will not intentionally monitor or disclose any private electronic-mail message that you send us unless required by law.
- This site is free for all to access. No subscription fee or registration is required.
- We are funding this site using our personal savings. At this point, we do not intent to use this site as a marketing platform and as such we will not be carrying any advertisement or promotional content.
- We do not accept payment for articles written. If we do mention names of private companies or products, it is simply to help give the story credibility and depth, and for the purpose of providing information. And not as an endorsement.
