Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

NOV 22, 2020: On the last Sunday of the liturgical year, Catholics celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King. This feast is designed to give special recognition to the dominion Christ our Lord has over all aspects of our lives. We honour Christ as the King of the Universe and the King of our hearts by allowing him to take control of our lives. In thousands of human hearts all over the world, Jesus reigns as King. The Cross is His throne and the Sermon on the Mount, His rule of law.

Here is a comic to help you and your children get a quick look at the meaning of this feast day. Dr Yeoh is a medical doctor who draws comics in her spare time to explain the teachings of Jesus and the Catholic faith. Since April, we have been publishing her comics on various topics on a weekly basis. If you want to know more about Dr Yeoh, you can go here. Colour added by her friend AGG.
